                     This Indenture,
Made the 25th day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand neight hundred and ninety-eight
Between Harvey Vanvalkenburgh, of Cobleskill, N.Y. party of the first part, and Irving D. Van Valkenburgh, of Gloversville, N.Y., party of the second part.
Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part, in consideration of one dollar and other good and valuable considerations, to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged, has bargained, sold, remised and Quit-Claimed, and by these presents does bargain, sell, remise and Quit-Claim unto the said party of the second part, and to his heirs and assigns forever,
All that tract, piece or parcel of land, situate in the town of Cobleskill County of Schoharie and State of New York, and bounded and described as follows, viz: Eaterly by lands formerly owned by John W. Van Valkenburgh afterwards by James Soden, now deceased, now owned by Lewis N. Dana, southerly by lands formerly owned by Marcus Borst, now deceased, now owned by Abram Shutts and northerly by lands formerly owned by William Angle, deceased, now owned by Austin Angle, and westerly by the center of the highway, containing two acres of land be the same more or less, being the former residence of Sidney Boyce, deceased.

Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging, or in anywise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and all the estate, right, title, interest, claim and demand whatsoever, of the said part of the first part, either in law or equity, of, in or to the above bargained premises, with the said hereditaments and appurtances, to have and to hold the said described lands and premises to the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, to the sole and only proper the said hereditaments and appurtenances, to have and to hold the said described lands and premises to the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, to the sole and only proper benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever..
     In witness whereof, the party of the first part has hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written.

On this 30th day of November in the year one thousand eight hundred and ninety eight, before me, the subscriber, personally appeared Harvey Van Valkenburgh to me personally known to be the same person described in and who executed the foregoing instrument, and he acknowledged to me that he executed the same.

Cook Esq., whose name is subscribed to the proof or acknowledgment of the annexed instrument, was at the time of taking such proof or acknowledgment a Notary Public in and for the said County, dwelling in said County, duly commissioned and sworn and authorized by the laws of the State of New York to take the acknowledgments and proofs of deeds or conveyances for lands, tenements or hereditaments in said State of New York, and further, that I am well acquainted with his handwriting, and verily believe that the signature thereto, purporting to be his, is genuine. And I do further certify that said instrument is executed and acknoledged according to the laws of the State of New York.
