Lina Huse obituary

September 25, 1930

Miss Lina Huse, eighty-six, died at the home of her nephew, Vernon Huse, Franklinton, Saturday. She was born in Medusa and at the age of eighteen moved to Brooklyn where she followed dressmaking. Later in life she returned to this section and lived at Livingstonville. For a long time she was Assistant Matron at the county house. She was gentle woman and manifested throughout life a beautiful Christian character. The following nephews and nieces survive: Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Huse of Franklinton; D. Jackson of Providence; Miss E. Jackson of Newton, Mass.; Miss L. Miller of Schenectady; H. Miller of Hornell, and Miss R. Miller of California. Funeral was held Tuesday, Rev. F. J. Ball of Middleburgh, officiating. Burial at Medusa.
