Kniskern Family Bible Transcription

This Bible is mentioned in Roscoe’s History of Schoharie County on page 333 as being in the possession of William Shout. It was given by Mr. Shout and his wife Christina Houck to their niece Minnie Houck Freemyer, who gave it to her daughter Emma Freemyer Lawrence. She gave it to my mother.

The Bible itself is leather bound, in German, with handsome woodcuts. It was printed in 1748 by Johann Heinrich Phillipp Schramm.

I have transcribed the text as written. The German must be somewhat archaic as translation sites do not return coherent phrases. If anyone can translate exactly, I would appreciate hearing from them.
