WILL OF JUSTUS WRIGHT
In the name of God, Amen. I Justus Wright of the town of Seward and the county of Schoharie and the State of New York being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this life do therefore make ordain publish and declare this to be my last will and testament that it is to say:
First after all my lawful debts and funeral expenses are paid and discharged I give and bequeath 1st to my three daughters Eliza M. France, Huldah Kling and Fanny Y. (Aldrage ?) each five hundred dollars to be paid out of a certain note I hold against Sophia Wright of two thousand two hundred and fifty dollars and the balance of that note and all my contracts and personal property at Schoharie Court House to be divided equally between my sons Angelo Wright, Dawson Y Wright, and Eben Wright.
Likewise I make constitute and appoint Angelo Wright of Schoharie and Dewitt Kling of the town of Cobleskill all of the county of Schoharie and State of New York to be executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
In witness whereof I have hereunto inscribed my name and affiixed my seal this sixteenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and (sic) nine.

The above instrument consisting of one sheet was at this date thereof subscribed by Justus Wright the testator named in the foregoing will in the presence of us and each of us and at the time (unreadable) King such subscriptions the above instrument was declared by the said testator to be his last will and testament and each of us at the request of the said testator and in his presence and in the presence of each other sign name as witnesses thereto at the end of the will.

I, William C. Lamont, Surrogate of the County of Schoharie, do hereby certify that the annexed last Will and Testament of Justus Wright late of the town of Seward in the County of Schoharie, and the State of New York, deceased, was duly proved before me , on the 18th day of May in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and eighty nine as a Will relating to both real and personal estate, pursuant to the provisions of the statutes of New York in such case made and provided , and I further certify, that the said Will and the Proofs taken in relation to the execution thereof, are recorded in the Surrogate's Office of the County of Schoharie, in Book of Wills, Vol. 12 page 320 kept in said office for such purpose.
In Testimony Whereof, I the said Surrogate , have hereunto set my hand and affixed the Surrogate's Seal of the County of Schoharie, this 18th day of May A.D. 1889
