Jeremiah Dorman obituary

April 1916

Jeremiah Dorman died at his home in Breakabeen March 28th, 1916, of neuralgia of the heart. He had passed his 71st milestone March 5th. His funeral was held April 1st in the Presbyterian Church at Breakabeen. His former pastor, Rev. S. E. Myers, was called to assist in the services. Jerry Dorman was a conscientious, Christian man, a member of the M. E. Church at Gates Hill, but after moving to Breakabeen he attended the church there. He leaves a wife, one sister, Mrs. Charlotte Stever, who resides in his house, one brother, Charles A. Dorman, of Broome Hill, beside nephews and nieces, who will greatly miss "uncle Jerry." To the bereaved ones we extend our heartfelt sympathy. The roads were so bad that it was impossible for many of his friends to get to the funeral.
