Henrietta (Van Dyke) Parslow obituary

January 30, 1930

Mrs. Henrietta Parslow, wife of Arthur Parslow, formerly of Middleburgh, a resident of Hunter for four years and liked by all who knew her, passed away Monday Jan. 13, at the home of her son Alonzo in the village of Hunter. She was fifty-two years old and had been operated upon in September. Later she developed pneumonia and was sick eight days. She was a daughter of Joseph and Mary Van Dyke, who preceded her in death. She is survived by three sons, Joseph, Alonzo and Mahlon and two daughters Mrs. Arthur Reynolds and Catherine Parslow, and her husband, all of Hunter, and seven sisters Mrs. John Schrom, Mrs. Elmer Lawyer, Mrs. Henry McBain, Mrs. Fred Taylor, Miss Myrtle Van Dyke all of Middleburgh, Mrs. Daniel Dickerson of Hunter and Mrs. Augustus Mitzenhelm of Albany, one brother, George Van Dyke of Middleburgh, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral was held from the M. E. Church, conducted by Rev. C. J. Howard. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Grand Gorge.
