Charles Crapser obituary

     Charles Crapser died suddenly at his home at Cobleskill RD on Oct. 7, 1967.
     Born Aug. 12, 1894 in Summit, he was the son of Alva and Ella Dauley Crapser. His wife, the former Stella Gray, died in 1955. Mr. Crapser was a retired farmer and a lifetime resident of Schoharie county.
     Survivors include two sons, Clifford of Carlisle road and Raymond of RD Cobleskill; a daughter, Mrs. Otis (Elsie) Van Dyke of Schoharie; eight grandchildren; a brother, William A. Crapser of Richmondville; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Garreau of East Cobleskill and Mrs. Hazel Morey of Summit; and several nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Mereness funeral home with the Rev. Olof C. Johnson, pastor of the Central Bridge Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in Cobleskill Rural cemetery.
     Bearers were Roy Brown, Roy Bradt, Harold Hajny, Kenneth Dargie, Malcolm Doolittle and Merton Utter.
