Will of Betsey Moyer

I, Betsey Moyer of the town of Seward, Schoharie County, N.Y. being of sound mind and memory, Do make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, that is to says First, After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, I give and bequeath to the Trustees of the Leesville Cemetery Association the sum Fifty Dollars, on condition that the principal shall never be used or diminished, but to be securely invested, and that the net income thereof shall be devoted to the "Perpetual Care" of the lot in said Cemetery in which I shall be buried. If, however, I shall in my lifetime make the payment to said trustees of said sum for said purpose, then the foregoing bequest shall be considered as revoked and having no force or effect.

Second, All the rest, residue and remainder of my property of every name and nature and wherever it may be found, I give and bequeath to Elizabeth Pattridge, my niece, of Cobleskill, N.Y. and to her heirs and assigns forever.

Third. It is my desire upon my death to have the funeral services held at the Church at Rockville in the town of Sharon, and that a Universalist Minister be secured, if convenient, to preach my funeral sermon.

Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint the said Elisabeth Pattridge to be the Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

In Witness whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed
my seal the sixteenth Day of November 1901.

The foregoing instrument, was at the date thereof subscribed by Betsey Meyer in the presence of us and each of us; she at the time of making such subscription, acknowledged that she made the same, and declared the said instrument so subscribed by her to be her last Will and Testament, whereupon we then and there, at her request and in her presence and the presence of each other, subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
