THE WILL OF FREDERICH MERCLEY OF SHARON

"In the Name of God Amen. I Frederich Mercley of the Town of Sharon in the County of Schoharie and State of New York Being weak in Body but of sound and perfect Mind and Memory, Blessed be Almight God for the Same
Do make and Publish this my last will and Testament in Manner and form following (that is to say) first and Principally Kommand my soul to God hoping through the merits Death and Passion of my Savior Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon and forgiveness for all my sins and to Inherit Everlasting life and my Body I commit to Earth to be decently Buried at the deriction of my Executers hereafter named and as touching the despostion of all such Temporal Estate as it hath pleased Almight God to Bestow upon me I give and dispose thereof as followeth First I will that my Debts and funeral Charges shall be paid and discharged Secondly I give and Bequeath unto my Beloved wife Chatrine Mercley two Hundred Dollars. Thirdly I give and Bequeath to my two sons Christian Mercley and Martin Mercley all my Personal Estate of that name or Description whatsoever
fourthly I will and direct that my two sons Christian Mercley and Martin Mercley pay to my Eldest Son Fredrich Mercley one Hundred Dollars Fifthly I will order and direct that my two Sons Christian Mercley and Martian Mercley pay to my son John Mercley the sum of one Hundred Dollars.
Sixthly I will order and direct that my two sons Christian Mercley and Martain Mercley pay unto my son Michal Mercley the sum of Three Hundred and Seventy Five Dollars
Seventhly I also give and Bequeath unto my son Michal Mercley and to his heirs and assigns for Ever all that part of lot Number one in a pattent granted to Goldsborough Banger and two others lying and Being Situated in the Town of Sharon and County of Schoharie Begining at the South East Corner of lot Number Elevin in a patent granted to Jacob Borst & others Situated in the Town of Sharon aforesaid and Runs from the aforesaid South East Corner of said lot Number Eleven southerly to a small creek then Down in said Creek to the west creek on Cobuls Kill and all easterly of the line drawn as aforesaid of the said lot number one is hereby given and Belongs to my said son Michal Mercley.
Eightly I further give and devise to my said two sons aforesaid Christian Mercley and Martain Mercley their heirs Excuters Administraters and asigned for Ever all my Messuage or Tennanents Situatedlying and Being in the Town of Sharon in the County of Schoharie together with all my other freehold and Leashold estate Whatsoever and --------to them the said Christian Mercley and Martain Mercley their heirs and assigns for Ever as aforsaid Share and Share alike.
Lastly I hereby appoint Michal Mercley, Christian Mercley and Martain Mercley my Executors of this my last will and Testamone hereby revoking all former Wills by me made in Wittness whereof I have ----unto set my hand and seal the fourteenth day of April one thousand Eight Hundred and four.

codical of the above Will
Frederich Mercley of the Town of Sharon in the County of Schoharie do this Eighteeneth day of March 1808 make and publish a Codical to my Last will and Testament in Manner following (That is to say) Whereas in and by my last will and Testament in manner following
I give two Hundred Dollars to my Beloved wife Chatrine Mercley which two Hundred Dollars was Intended to have been paid my two sons Christian Mercley and Martin Mercley I do hereby order and declare that my will is that the said two Hundred shall not be paid out but shall remain and belong to my two sons Christian Mercley and Martain Mercley and I do give and Bequeath the said two Hundred Dollars to my two sons Christian Mercley and Martain Mercley and lastly is my desire that this my present Codical be Annexed to and made part of my last Will and Testament to all intents and purposses in witness whereby I have hereto set my hand and seal this Eighteenth day of March One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eight.
