LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF CATHERINE FLAGLER

The last will and testament of Catharine Flagler of
Poughkeepsie Town, in the County of Dutchess made
published February 6th 1828.
First I give and bequeath unto Sarah W. Lean, my
granddaughter one bed and curtains, two sheets and
three blankets.
Second I give and bequeath unto Catharine Myers my
granddaughter one bed and curtains, two sheets and
three blankets.
Third-all the rest of my personal property whatsoever
and wheresoever of what nature and kind and quality
soever the same may be and not herein before mentioned
and given and disposed of, I wish to be equally
divided amongst my children to and for their own use
and benefit absolutely. In witness whereof I have here
unto to set my hand and seal the day and year first
above written.
Signed and sealed and declared by the said Testator
as for her last will and testament in our presence who
at her request in her presence, in the presence of
each other have subscribed our names as witnesses
thereto-

Dutchess County-
Be it remembered that on the twentieth day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
twenty eight personally appeared before me James
Hooker Surrogate of the County of Dutchess aforesaid.
John Giles one of the subscribing witnesses to the
will of Catharine Flagler late of the town of
Poughkeepsie in said County deceased, who being duly
affirmed declared that the deponent did see the said
Testatrix seal and execute the instrument here unto
annexed, purporting to be the last will and Testament
of the said Testatrix bearing the date the sixth day
of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred twenty eight; that the deponent heard the said
Testatrix publish and declare the same as and for her
last will and testament: that at the time thereof the
said Testatrix was of sound disposing mind and memory
to the best of the knowledge and belief of the
deponent and that the deponent and Lawrence Frear and
Peter Low did severally subscribe their names to said
will as witnesses thereto in the presence of the said
Testatrix.
In testimony where of the said Surrogate hath
hereunto set his hand and affixed his Seal of Office
this twentieth day of March in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight.
