This is a record of a small church cemetery in the town of Richmondville, NY. I would never have found it on my own. It is in very bad condition and there is no longer a clear path to reach this cemetery. I learned about it while researching my Becker ancestors and communicating with a Mrs Newell Becker who attended the church and has in-laws buried there. I went out to view the cemetery and did retrieve some information although many of the tombstones are broken, sinking , or unreadable. Mrs. Newell Becker sent me a small pamphlet she found in some of her old files. It contains the records of the Beard's Hollow Church Cemetery. This cemetery is located on Beards Hollow Road, Richmondville. It is located behind the Beards Hollow Church which is currently only open in the month of August, I believe. The pamphlet I am using as a reference was published by the Beard's Hollow Society in August of 1965 with an acknowledgement to George Van Schaick for access to scrapbooks & photos. The committee for a memorial booklet was Margaret Umberger, Frances R. Putman, Nellie G. Crosby. Candy Bender, February 24, 1998
Note - This cemetery is actually located in the town of Summit, just over the line from the town of Richmondville. June 9, 2010

Notes
The death of Hiram Mann (1815 - ?) is incorrect. The cemetery page has his death as 27 Sep 1878. However, he appears on both the 1880 Federal census and the 1892 NY census. I suspect his death may have been sometime between 1892 – 1900. He does not appear on the 1900 census. - Michelle Traughber
