Do hereby certify, That a certain Indenture of Mortgage, bearing date the 30th
day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety
five, made and executed by William Van Valkenburgh and Minerva Van Valkenburgh
his wife of the town of Cobleskill Schoharie County N.Y. to me and recorded in
the office of the Clerk of the County of Schoharie, State of New York, in Liber
60 of Mortgages, page 583 on the 30th day of April 1895, at 1 P.M., to secure
the payment of one hundred and fifty dollars with interest as follows: The
principal sum payable April first 1897, the interest annually, First payment
interest April 1, 1896 is redeemed, paid off, satisfied and discharged and I
hereby consent that the same be cancelled of record

eight hundred and ninety nine before me, the subscriber, personally appeared
Alice Allison to me personally known to be the same person described in and who

I, Charles H. Butler, Clerk of said County and also Clerk of the Supreme and County Courts of Record. do hereby certify that E. A. Sutliff Esq., whose name is subscribed to the certificate of proof or acknowledgement to which this is annexed, was at the time of taking the same a Commissioner of Deeds in and for the City of Gloversville, and in and for said County, dwelling in said City duly qualified and authorized by Courts to take the same and that the said certificate of proof is taken and the instrument to which this is attached is executed and acknowledged according to the laws of this State, and further that I am well acquainted with the hand writing of said Commissioner of Deeds and verily believe his signature to the said certificate is genuine.
In Testimony Whereof. I have hereunto subscribed
my name and affixed the seal of said County and Courts at Johnstown, this 24th day of
February 1899.
